and ensure that the user is able to perform a proper inspection on all categories of a unit, you may add categories during an inspection. This feature also allows the ability to change the name of the category, for example spare bedroom, guest bathroom, etc.

Step-by-Step Guide to Adding a Category During an Inspection

Start,

1. Start or Resume an inspection.

2. The Inspection Categories Page will appear, click the

button located in the top right corner of the page.

3. The New Category

popup will appear:

  • Success! You have added a new category to the inspection. You will be directly navigated to the new categories detail page.
  • A - Select Category:

    A. Select Category - First, select a category from the dropdown. There will be a wide range of categories to choose from.

    - Then, enter a display name to help differentiate this category from potential duplicates.

    . Add or Cancel

    - Lastly, click the "Add" button to permanently add the category to the inspection or cancel the operation of adding a Category for Inspection.

    4. Success! You have added a new inspection category to your inspection. Note: Some Inspection Templates do not have the ability to add categories.
