Doorways provides the ability to leave a note on the Unit or Household pages. These can include questions, comments, and concerns.

Unit Notes: 

Unit notes are comments/notes left on the page of a specific unit. 

Household Notes:

Household Notes are comments/notes left on the page of a specific household or individual within the household.

  • Household search > Household Overview Page > Notes Tab or Notes Widget at bottom right of page

  • All Households > Click Desired Household > Notes Tab or Notes widget at bottom right of page
  • Unit search > Unit Overview Page > Notes Tab
  • All Units > Click Desired Unit > Notes Tab

Note Categories:

When adding a note to a unit, or household you will be prompted to choose a category as follows;

  • Cash Receipts - (definition)
  • Collections - (definition)
  • Billing Statement - (definition)
  • Other - (definition)
  • Rent Change Notes - (definition)
  • Unit Turn - (definition)
  • Waiting List - (definition)

Creating A Note

Step By Step Guide

  1. To create a new note, find the notes widget at the bottom right of the unit or household page you wish to comment on. Then click the "+" or new note button.

A pop-up will appear prompting you to choose the "Note Category." More information as to what each category pertains to is on the note overview page.
