**Doorways does not delete any household - but preforming this action removes the household from any searches or reports. Only a Doorways Engineer can recover an archived household. Archiving the household is the best way to remove duplicates or to clean up data.

Before Archiving

  1. The household cannot occupy a unit or be enrolled in any program

  2. The household must have a ZERO BALANCE on any and all of their accounts

  3. The household must be removed from ALL waitlists

How-To Archive a Household

Navigate to the household you wish to archive

Scroll down to the gear icon* > Hover > Click “Delete “Archive Household”**

Confirm your intent to archive a household by selecting “Yes” when prompted Image Removed

*If you do not see the gear icon, you do not have permission to archive a household. Please see your site administrator to gain access.

 

How-To Unarchive a Household

  1. Navigate to Occupancy > Households > View Another Report

2. From the View Another Report link, click on the reports dropdown list

3. From the dropdown list, select “Archived Households” report

4. From the list of archived households, select the name of the individual you would like to unarchive

...

5. Once on the household profile, select the tool-box on the left hand side

6. Scroll to the gear icon (note: if you do not have permission to archive/unarchive, you will not see a gear icon)
