Image Merge fields require a "placeholder" image. This means the image will be replaced by the one that is entered into the custom global merge field in Doorways.
- Add an image to act as a placeholder in the document.
- Select the placeholder image.
- In the "Insert" tab, select Links, then Bookmarks.
- In the Bookmark Name field, enter the merge field name that will match the Custom Global Merge field associated with this image. the prefix "img_" should be placed before the mergefield name in the bookmark field name. Ex: img_image1. The img prefix is not needed for the custom global merge field name. (The image merge field name must have a matching custom global merge field in order to populate upon letter generation)
- Save the document, and re-upload to Doorways as necessary.
