Assigning and moving a household to a unit are two different actions in the Doorways app.
Assigning a unit to a household removes that unit from the unit vacancy report and allows the household to be easily moved in when the time comes.
Moving a household into a unit in HDS Doorways changes a unit’s status to ‘Occupied’ and a household’s status to ‘Tenant’.
