**Doorways does not delete any household - but preforming this action removes the household from any searches or reports. Only a Doorways Engineer can recover an archived household. Archiving the household is the best way to remove duplicates or to clean up data.

Before Archiving

  1. The household cannot occupy a unit or be enrolled in any program

  2. The household must have a ZERO BALANCE on any and all of their accounts

  3. The household must be removed from ALL waitlists

To archive, these actions are required before moving forward. Archiving a household before taking the steps above could result in a Professional Services fee. Please proceed with care.

How-To

Navigate to the household you wish to archive

Click on the Tools menu on the side of the screen


Scroll down to the gear icon* > Hover > Click “Delete Household”**

Confirm your intent to archive a household by selecting “Yes” when prompted

*If you do not see the gear icon, you do not have permission to archive a household. Please see your site administrator to gain access.
