Waiting Lists in Doorways can now be created without the relation to program. Follow the step by step instructions below to create a new wait list. The ordering system for wait lists is automatically done by date, however, by adding preferences a point system will be put into place. Therefore, a households placement on the list will be based upon first, their preference points, then by the date they were added to the list.

Step-by-Step guide
- Navigate to the Waiting List overview page.
- Click "Create New Waiting List".
- Enter the Name of the wait list.
- Select an income limit area if necessary.
- To add preferences, click the "Add New" button under the Preferences section.
- Enter the Name of the preference.
- Enter the Point Value. Zero values are allowed.
- Optional, enter a description regarding the preference.
- Click the "Create" Button. You create as many preferences as necessary, there is no limit.
- Click "Create Waiting List".
- Success! You have created a new waiting list, and will be navigated back to the Waiting List overview screen.
