Filter Inspections

You can also filter through any inspections assigned to you via the blue 'Show Filters' tab in the top left. This will prompt the filter tab seen below. The filter tab will give you several options for viewing your inspections, including sorting by the inspection date, the status of an inspection, as well as who the inspection is assigned to. To select a filter, click on the box to the left of the chosen filter. To deselect a filter, click on the checked box to the left of the filter. To exit the filter options, click anywhere outside the filter tab on the screen.

The 'Details' section will allow you to assign/reassign an inspection, set an appointment time, change the type of inspection, and set the tenant's permissions to enter the premise as shown below. Other details such as the tenant's address, household details and phone numbers can only be changed by the housing authority in Doorways.

To add a comment to a chosen inspection, click the blue 'Comments' bar at the bottom of the screen.

This will bring up a bubble to add a comment as well as the iPad's keyboard display. If you are unable to type, click anywhere inside the comment box and the blue cursor line will appear. When finished typing your message, click the blue 'Save' or 'Cancel' icons to exit the comment screen.

Or to exit, there is a cancel button in the bottom right of the camera screen.

When finished with a category, click the 'Done' icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

If any categories need to be added, click the blue 'Add Category' button at the bottom of the category page.

This will prompt a bubble of possible inspection categories to add. To add a category, click on one of the options below and select the blue 'Save' button in the bottom right. Note: If your inspection already contains every possible category (such as with the UPCS template), you will be unable to create additional categories and an error screen will appear.

When you are finished with all sections pertaining to the current inspection, click the green 'Pass Remaining and Submit' button in the bottom right corner. This will accept every category left blank as passing inspection. See 'What is "Pass Remaining"' for more information.
