With bulk letters you can select a template to send to all the members of a group. By using this feature, you can send out all Late Fee letters, an invite to a meeting, or a notice for inspection all at once. 

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Bulk Letter

  1. Click on "Groups" in the header navigational bar.
  2. Select the group you wish to generate a letter for. (If you have not created a group yet, see Guide to Creating Groups).
  3. From the Group Overview page, click the action select dropdown.
  4. Click "Letter from Template.
  5. The bulk letter wizard will then run.
  6. Step one, find the appropriate letter from the list of templates, and then click the "Choose" button to the right of the template.
  7. Next, enter in any custom merge fields that were not within the collection of the doorways supported merge fields.

    1. If the template included a letterhead merge field and/or custom merge fields that had not yet been setup in doorways, a message will appear reminder the user to create a custom merge field. 
    2. Enter in the un-merged fields for each individual letter recipient.
    3. To apply a field to the entire list of recipients, click the "Apply Across All Households" checkbox, and the field will be removed from the other households and applied across all group members.
  8. Click next to view a preview of how the letters will be generated for each individual within the group.
  9. Clicking Next will generate the letters for each individual and will save a copy to their household Letter History. Now is a good time to download and/or print the group letters all at once. You may do so by clicking the "print" icon in the the preview window. 
  10. Success! Click "OK" and you're all done. Each individuals Letter History will reflect the new letter created from the bulk action.
