Inspect - Create an Inspection

The "Inspect" button,Ā launches the new inspection wizard. See Inspections.

Create a New Inspection

  1. Click Inspect - Create an Inspection.
  2. The new Inspection wizard will launch.Ā 
  3. General Information:Ā Select the Inspection Form, and the subsequent Inspection Type.
  4. Property Information:Ā In the search field, enter a tenant name or a unit address to find the specific unit you are looking for. The selected unit and selected household fields will auto-populate once a unit/household is selected. Households that are not moved into a unit will not appear in the search dropdown.
  5. Inspection Staff Information:Ā Enter or select an inspection date and time. It is optional to select a Date & Time, however, if you choose one you must enter the subsequent date or time. You cannot just enter a time and vice versa. Then, check the "Yes" or "No" selection bubbles next to "Permission to Enter". Select the user that will become the assignee/performer of the inspection, this step is optional, you may leave the inspection "Unassigned".
  6. Comments (optional):Ā If needed, enter in any comments that may be applicable to this unit inspection.
  7. Cancel/Create Inspection:Ā If you click "Cancel" the user will be Ā returned to the inspections list, and the information entered for the new inspection will be deleted. If the user selects the "Create Inspection" button.
  8. Success!: After confirming the creation of the inspection, the user will be prompted with a success message and the option to either click "No" and return to the inspections list, or click "Yes" and view the new inspections details.
